Blessing and Greeting:
I received your letter with the report. I believe I wrote to you before that it is better to receive two reports about the same events, rather than none, especially as, where there is a repetition of this kind, there usually is also some supplementary information or details, all of which is of great interest.
Your letter with the check was duly received.
With reference to your moving into your new home, surely a blessing by telegram is just as valid as by letter. In any case, I gladly reiterate my good wishes that your moving into your new home be in a happy and auspicious hour, and that you enjoy it in good health, together with your husband and children.
I trust that you will continue to write periodically, with not too long intervals in between.
Hoping to hear good news from you,
With blessing,
By Nissan Mindel
Notes and sources
Mrs. Groner (1926–2018), together with her husband Rabbi Yitzhak Dovid Groner (1925–2008), were among the pioneer shluchim of the Rebbe to Melbourne, Australia. In 1958, the Groners relocated from Buffalo, New York—where they had been directing the local Chabad school—initially intending to remain for three to five years. They ultimately settled permanently, devoting more than five decades to nurturing and strengthening Jewish life in Melbourne.
For additional English letters addressed to her, see letter dated 11 Marcheshvan 5721 and as referenced there.
