By the Grace of G-d3rd of Teves, 5744Brooklyn, N. Y.
Mr. . . .
Miami, Fl.
Greeting and Blessing:
I received your letter of the 7th of Kislev.
Needless to say, in addition to it being a requirement of the Torah,1 it is also a matter of common sense to live in a suitable area where there are the necessary facilities to conduct a Torah-true everyday life.
As to making a choice where to move to, this depends on a number of factors and details which can best be discussed personally with knowledgeable friends.
As we are now coming from the auspicious Festival of Chanukah, with its message that, as Jews increase the light of Torah and Mitzvoth in their personal lives and all around them, as symbolized by the lighting of the Chanukah Candles in growing numbers from day to day HaShem increases His blessings in all their needs, both materially and spiritually may this be so with you and yours in a growing measure.
With blessing,
