By the Grace of G-d Erev Rosh Chodesh Tammuz, 5744Brooklyn, N. Y.
Mr. . . .
Canada
Greeting and Blessing:
I received your letter of June 24th, in which you write about the problem of getting a U.S.A. visa in order to find employment and Parnosso, etc.
In general, it would be advisable for you to discuss the matter with friends in your city, or possibly with an attorney, in order to find out how other persons in a similar situation obtained American visas. Our office does not deal with such cases.
Since everything is by Hashgocho Protis, and you have written to me in this matter, and inasmuch as the matter is still under a question mark, I would like to suggest that you should talk things over with knowledgeable friends as to whether it is advisable in the first place to invest time and energy, as well as expenses, to look for Parnosso in another country, where there are also economic problems, for it may be more logical to see if the same efforts and expenses could not be used to greater advantage right in your present place or country, where you surely already have some contacts or can make them more easily than in a new country.
I trust it is unnecessary to emphasize to you at length that since HaShem is the Source of all blessings, including the blessing of Parnosso, it is necessary to widen the channels to receive His blessings, these channels being the everyday life and conduct in accordance with His Will, namely, in accordance with the Torah and Mitzvoth. And, of course, there is always room for advancement in all matters of Yiddishkeit, Torah and Mitzvoth, which are infinite, being connected with The Infinite.
Hoping to hear good news from you in all above,
With blessing,
