By the Grace of G‑d 15th of Kislev, 5721 Brooklyn, N. Y.
Joint Distribution Committee
3 East 54th Street
New York 22, N.Y.
Greeting and Blessing:
This is to thank you for your thoughtfulness in sending me a copy of Herbert Agar's The Saving Remnant. I trust that you will make available to our library also future publications, and may G‑d grant that their contents be of a pleasant nature and that the work of the JDC be concentrated on improving the good position of our brethren instead of having to provide emergency aid in times of misfortune.
Having had occasion often to hear about you from my father-in-law of saintly memory, I take this opportunity to send you under separate cover the second volume of my father-in-law's memoirs, which was published recently in connection with the 200th anniversary of the demise of the Baal Shem Tov of blessed memory.
With all good wishes, and
With blessing,
M. Schneerson
