Greeting and Blessing:
This is to thank you very much for your kind cooperation in making available to us photostatic copies of the manuscript of Rabbi Lavout of saintly memory. Thereby you have brought great spiritual gratification to the soul of your late father-in-law of blessed memory.
Incidentally, my personal interest in the manuscript is enhanced by the fact that I, too, am a descendant of the author, who was my great,-great-grandfather.
At this time before Pesach, I send you my prayerful wishes that the Festival of Our Freedom bring you and yours true freedom, freedom from anxiety material and spiritual, in order to serve G-d wholeheartedly and with joy.
With the blessing of a Kosher and Happy Pesach
M. Schneerson
