By the Grace of G-d 21st of Adar, 5724 Brooklyn, N. Y.
Mr. . .
Amsterdam-Z, Holland
Greeting and Blessing:
I am very much surprised that since your wedding I have not received any letter from you. I even cabled you that I was worried about your silence. May G-d grant that, as the saying goes, "No news is good news", and that your silence should be an indication that all is in order. However, I would like to hear that this is so explicitly.
I trust that you had an enjoyable and inspiring festival of Purim, and that you made the most of it also in behalf of your environment. Inasmuch as Purim brings "Light, joy, gladness and honor", to all Jews, may it be G-d‘s will to grant you and your wife a growing measure of same.
Hoping to hear good news from you
With blessing
M. Schneerson
