By the Grace of G-d 1st of Marcheshvan, 5719 Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mr. ...
London, N.16, England
Greeting and Blessing:
I received your Express letter, and, as requested, I hasten to reply to it.
In regard to the matter of . . .'s meeting with the girl or her father, my objection was only to all too frequent meetings but not, naturally, that he discontinue it altogether, especially as her father is interested in him and would like him to continue the acquaintance. Under the present circumstances, I think it would be best that her father should meet . . . again and later, if he still wants him to, . . . should also meet with the girl, but not too frequently.
With regard to the question of the Nusach of prayer with the children, it is, of course, an excellent idea to use Nusach Ari. There is a well-known tradition of the early Chassidim that the Old Rebbe checked and clarified the Nusach of his Sidur out of 60 different Sidurim.
I was pleased to read that you enjoyed Yom Tov, and I hope and pray that the Rejoicing of our Torah will extend throughout the year.
With blessing,
M. Schneerson
