Thank you for your letter of the 9th of Teveth. I read with much interest about the various Farbrengen, and trust that the future ones will be even better in attendance and general accomplishment.

I trust the 150th anniversary of the Yahrzeit of the Old Rebbe on the 24th of Teveth was duly observed. As you know, the Chassidic teachings and way of life are not the heritage of a particular group, but of all our people, as the Old Rebbe pointed out.¹ Certainly the emphasis on the three loves - love of G-d, love of the Torah and love of fellow Jew - which the Old Rebbe has taught us to appreciate and cultivate, is the portion of every Jew, without exception.²

May G-d grant you success in your work and in your personal affairs, materially and spiritually.
