By the Grace of G-d22nd of Kislev, 5722Brooklyn, N. Y.
1-3 Seymour Road
Manchester 8, Lancs.
Greeting and Blessing:
I received your letter of the 9th of Kislev. I was pleased to read in it that you are advancing in your Torah studies.
I hope you participated in the observance of Yud Tes Kislev, the history of which you surely know, and that the inspiration will last you throughout the year. All the more so as this inspiration is further fortified by the inspiration of Chanukah which follows soon after Yud Tes Kislev, and which also teaches the necessity of spreading the light of the Torah and Mitzvoth with Mesirus Nefesh, and in a growing measure, as indicated by the Mitzvah of the Chanukah lights which we kindle in increasing numbers each night of Chanukah.
With blessing,
By Nissan Mindel
