By the Grace of G-d11th of Adar II, 5741Brooklyn, N. Y.
Mr. . . .
Kfar Chabad
Greeting and Blessing:
I am in receipt of your letter of the 23rd of Adar I, and may G-d grant the fulfillment of your heart’s desires for good.
Judging by your writing, there is certainly no need to emphasize to you at length that every additional effort in matters of Torah and Mitzvoth in the everyday life, though a must for their own sake, widens the channels to receive G-d's blessings in all needs. And when it comes to learning Torah, and observing the Mitzvoth, we have the assurance of our Sages, "Make the effort, and you will succeed,"1 especially as G-d also helps.
If any question or doubt arises in any matter connected with the everyday life in accordance with the Torah and Mitzvoth, etc., it is the Jewish custom to consult with a Rabbi, who usually treats such matters in confidence, is learned and experienced, and can give the proper Torah advice and guidance.
It would be well to have the Tefillin and Mezuzoth checked to make sure they are Kosher, if this has not been done within the past twelve months.
Wishing you and all your family a joyous and inspiring Purim,
With blessing,
