By the Grace of G-d3rd of Teves, 5744Brooklyn, N. Y.
Dr. . . .
Sydney, Australia
Greeting and Blessing:
With further reference to your correspondence on the subject of your inheritance, etc., I believe I have already replied to you. However, inasmuch as you bring it to my attention again, I want to reiterate that, first and foremost, you should find out through a competent lawyer what you can do in the matter, both from the viewpoint of local, as well as international law. For a Jew is expected to do what is necessary in the ordinary course of things, while putting his trust in HaShem for Hatzlocho in his efforts.
The latter is directly connected with keeping the channels of G-d's blessings wide open through the everyday life and conduct in accordance with His Will, namely in accordance with the Torah and Mitzvoth. Indeed, every additional effort in matters of Yiddishkeit, though a "must” for its own sake, widens these channels.
With blessing,
