By the Grace of G-d25th of Elul, 5735Brooklyn, N. Y.
Miss . . .
Blessing and Greeting:
It is quite some time since I received your correspondence. I trust that there not being further news from you in the meantime is a sign that no news is good news.
Needless to say, insofar as a Jew is concerned "good news" means that there is a steady advancement in all matters of Yiddishkeit, including the implementation of the great principle of our Torah, V’Ohavto L’Reacho Komocho,1 namely helping, by example and precept, other Jews to identify with Yiddishkeit in their daily life.
Wishing you a Kesivo vaChasimo Tovo, for a good and sweet year in every respect,
With blessing,
M. Schneerson
P. S. With regard to the question as to where to study, whether in New York or to return to college, etc., and your parents' view on this matter — you should inquire of a competent Rov.
