By the Grace of G-d7th of Cheshvan, 5745Brooklyn, N. Y.
Ms. . . .

Rep. of South Africa
Blessing and Greeting:
I received your (undated) letter, and may G-d grant that you should have good news to report in the matter about which you wrote.
I trust you can convey to all those for whom you requested a blessing that all blessings come from HaShem, and the channel to receive them is through the everyday life and conduct in accordance with His Will. Therefore, every additional effort in matters of Torah and Mitzvoth, though a "must" for their own sake, widens these channels. And, of course, there is always room for advancement in all matters of goodness and holiness, Torah and Mitzvoth.
May G-d grant that you should have good news to report.
With blessing,
P.S. Enclosed is a copy of a message, which, although written in connection with Rosh Hashono, is always timely. I trust you will make good use of it.1
