By the grace of G-d27 Marcheshvan 5712November 26th, 1951Brooklyn 13, N.Y.
Dear Mr. ...
I have received your letters of November 5th and 19th. I have repeatedly told you that you do not have to apologise for writing to me. On the contrary, your letters, though by no means cheerful, are preferable to silence which would give me cause for anxiety.
I wonder why you do not mention anything about the various undertakings which had engaged your attention of late. As I wrote you before, it seems to me that besides your major efforts in this direction on the ventures of a large scale, you should devote considerable attention to more modest projects with more immediate prospects of realization.
I am sure that you will be rehabilitated eventually, but this is no reason for limiting yourself to one avenue of income.
Enclosed is a loan from our Free Loan Fund, which I wish you and yours to use in good health.
With kindest regards,
Cordially yours,
