On this auspicious day of "Zos Chanukah,["] I reiterate my prayerful wishes to you and yours in all needs, and in the essential matter of raising the children to a life of Torah, Chuppah and Good Deeds, and that you and Mrs. Hasofer should always have true Yiddish Chassidish Nachas from them.

I am sending this letter by Special Delivery-Express in pursuance to the matter of Sidney which we discussed, in view of the new development that has come to light in connection with Rabbi Gutnick's visit here.

Rabbi Gutnick left for Eretz Yisroel before Shabbos, carrying with him the names of various candidates there, which had been given him before leaving Australia, with a view to selecting a most suitable candidate for Sidney. Consequently, what I spoke to you about your part in this should be left in abeyance pending the results of Rabbi Gutnick’s efforts in this matter during his visit in Eretz Yisroel.

I take this opportunity of enclosing a copy of a timely general message, which I trust you will find interesting and useful.
