Blessing and Greeting:
After not having heard from you for a very long time, though I inquired about you indirectly, I was pleased to be informed by Machne Israel that a letter was received from you today. On the basis of "no news, good news,” I gather that all is well with you, though I would like to hear it specifically.
I take this opportunity to refer to your late husband’s (of blessed memory) work on Sefer haRikmah. If, as it seems, it is too complicated an undertaking to publish the whole book again with your husband's commentaries, and the long delay in publishing it seems to bear this out, it would be well to publish at least your husband's additions on it, which would surely be easier. Remembering your husband from Berlin and knowing of the high esteem which he enjoyed, there should be many scholars who would be interested to see his additions published. If there is anything I can do in this connection, I shall be glad to do it.
With prayerful wishes and
With blessing
M. Schneerson
