By the Grace of G-d 24th of Marcheshvan, 5718 Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mr. ...
Greeting and Blessing:
After the long interval, I was pleased to receive your letter of November 6th, in which you write that you have become engaged and the wedding has been set. May G-d grant that it take place in a happy and auspicious hour. Needless to say that happiness of a Jewish married couple depends on establishing their home on the foundations of the Torah and Mitzvoth, in accordance with the Law of Life. In the light of your description of your bride's background, I trust that she will cooperate with you in this respect.
Indeed, any difficulties that may appear in establishing a Jewish home, are, in fact, much exaggerated and frequently only imaginary, for they are soon overcome where there is a determination to overcome them.
With the blessing of Mazel Tov,
The enclosed copy of my message will surely be of interest to you, inasmuch as it has a special bearing on the above.
With reference to an appointment, you will be in contact with my office, as to the mutually convenient time.
