By the Grace of G-d 19th of Tammuz, 5718 Brooklyn, N.Y.
Chicago, Illinois
Some time ago I received your short letter, in which you wrote about the condition of your son. If you will let me know his Hebrew name, and also his mother’s Hebrew name, I will remember him in prayer when visiting the holy resting place of my father-in-law of saintly memory.
You mentioned that your son is away at a private school. I assume that they are familiar there with the latest methods of medical treatment in such cases. Nevertheless it would be advisable that your family doctor should write to the school authorities to inquire after his condition, and to suggest that they be in touch with such specialists or institutions as specialize in such cases, with the view to giving him the benefit of the latest developments. In any case, such a letter would benefit your son by the very fact that it would call special attention to his case.
Inasmuch as the Torah and Mitzvoth are the channels through which to receive G-d’s blessings, any additional effort in this direction on the part of the members of the family, would bring additional blessings to all the family, and to your son in particular.
With blessing
