By the Grace of G-d15th of Elul, 5744Brooklyn, N. Y.
Mr. . . .
Woodmere, N. Y. 11598
Greeting and Blessing:
I received your letter of the 9th of Elul. As requested, I will remember you in prayer for the fulfillment of your heart's desires for good in the matters about which you wrote.
There is surely no need to emphasize to you at length that one of the basics of our Torah and way of life is to have absolute Bitochon in HaShem, whose benevolent Providence extends to each and everyone individually.
Of course, the Torah also expects the Jew to do what is necessary in the natural order of things. Therefore, in the matter of M.S.1 which you mention, it would be well to be in touch with medical research centers specializing in this field, in order to find out about any recent developments. For, as is well known, it usually takes a long time before any development reaches the medical journals and especially the practitioner.
In connection with the above, it is particularly advisable to be especially careful with Kashrus of foods and beverages, within the general advancement in all matters of Yiddishkeit.
At this time before Rosh Hashono, I extend to you and all yours prayerful wishes for a Kesivo vaChasimo Tovo for a good and sweet year, both materially and spiritually.
With blessing,
