[To] all Participants in [the] Dedication of [The] Lubavitch
House Library
15 Montcalm Ct.
St. Paul MN 55116
Greetings and Blessings:
[I Am] delighted to be informed of [the] dedication. May G-d grant that it be a most auspicious event. Our sages commenting on [the] verse "his righteousness (Tzedoko) endures forever''1 declare that this refers to a benefactor who makes sacred books available on loan toothers (Kesubos 50a). There is no more enduring Tzedoko than that which makes it possible to learn Torah because learning it leads to its actual fulfillment and the right way of life in accordance with Toras Chayim and its Mitzvos which jews live. I am confident the library will with G-d's help fulfill this vital function in the fullest measure which is of course a great and eternal Zechus for doctor and Mrs. Zeev Greene and all participating friends of Merkos Lubavitch both in this world and in the world to come. The timing of the dedication on the first day of Selichos which begin with Lcho Hashen Hatzedoko "Yours O G-d is the righteousness (Tzedoko)"2 is particularly significant in light of the above.
With esteem and blessing for Kesivo Vachasimo Toivo
