Greeting and Blessing:

On the basis of the Torah directive, "Encourage the Energetic, " and in light of the well-known virtue of זריזות (alacrity) and how important it is in all matters of Yiddishkeit -

Particularly in the application of the Torah imperative, repeated three times: להזהיר גדולים על הקטנים, "urging the elders to instruct the young," which is the basis of true Chinuch,

Including also the subject matter of the enclosed letter To All Jewish Children, Bless them;

I turn to you with a profound request to help stimulate and encourage the fulfillment of all the suggestions in the said letter, particularly in regard to arranging a special gathering and a parade in honor of Lag B'Omer.

Your fullest cooperation in all above will surely also bring you and yours additional Divine blessings, especially to derive from each and all of the children much Torah-true Nachas, permeated with Pnimius haTorah (inner light of Torah), as stated in the Zohar - Rabbi Shimon Ben Yochai's tractate (book), whose author is honored on Lag B'Omer.

May it be HaShem's Will that all the above should hasten the fulfillment of the promise in Zohar: "With this your tractate, namely, the Book of Zohar.. the Jewish people will come out of the Golus with mercy." May this come to pass very speedily in our own days.
