By the Grace of G-dErev Rosh Chodesh Elul,5744. Brooklyn, N.Y.
New York, N. Y. 10036
Greeting and blessing:
Thank you very much for the copy of your letter to Rabbi I.D. Groner and of the Mikveh plan.*
There is surely no need to emphasize to you at length the great importance of a Mikvah, which is one of the essential Divinely-given Mitzvot, which has an impact not only on persons observing it, but also on their children and children's children to the end of posterity. It is also a Mitzva which hastens the Geula Shleima which is connected with purity, as it is written, "I shall sprinkle upon you pure water, and you shall be pure" (Ezek. 36:25).1
There remains only to mention that it came in proximity to the Shabbat on which the month of Elul is blessed, the month of Divine Grace and Mercy, leading to the coming happy New Year.
Wishing you, and through you all who are participating in the great endeavor, a truly good and sweet year, both materially and spiritually.
With blessing,
P.S. It so happens that Rabbi Groner is visiting here at this time. As I heard from him, he is going to do everything possible to expedite the realization of this great project.
