Greeting and Blessing:
I am in receipt of your letter in which you seek advice in connection with the family business in which you are employed, and which is owned partly by your father who, in your estimation, is not getting his full share of income, etc. It has therefore occurred to you to look for another job or start your own business.
It is surely unnecessary to point out to you that when one wishes to correct a wrong in any situation, including a business, it is easier to accomplish it from within than from the outside. This is all the more true in the present case, where, as you indicate, you have an important and responsible position.
On the other hand, taking a new job, or starting a new business, would surely require a great deal of your attention, and one cannot predict how much time and peace of mind would be left to deal with the present problem.
The above is a general observation and guideline. For actual and practical purposes, the decision would also depend on various details and factors, including your options, as well as the relationship within the family. Therefore, it would be advisable to consult with friends who are also knowledgeable in a business sense.
With blessing,
