By the Grace of G-d Rosh Chodesh Iyar, 5737. Brooklyn, N.Y.
Dr. Yehuda Landes Ph.D.
Greeting and Blessing:
I was pleased to see you at the Farbrengen, and subsequently I received your letter of the 25th of Nissan, in which you wrote about the mishap at the Shul.1
May G-d grant that your ardent wishes as well as those of your co-workers and the community at large, will quickly restore the Shul even better than it was before, and that it should be, in accordance with the teachings of our Sages of blessed memory, “A House of Prayer and a House of Torah,” where, in addition to the daily prayers, there are also regular periods of Torah study. And the most important thing is that the light of the prayers and Torah should illuminate each and every dwelling of the worshippers and their families, and in a way that from there it should spread still further throughout the community, with every house serving as a “lighthouse” for the entire environment.
Hoping to hear good news from you in all above.
With blessing,
