I was pleased to receive regards from you, as well as your letter, through the visitors from England, who came here for the auspicious days of Yud Tes Kislev and Chanukah. Thank you for the report on the activities.

I trust that you observed these days with inspiration and joy, and may G-d grant that the influence of these days be with you throughout the year, and in a growing measure. This is also the essential message of the days of Chanukah which we are now celebrating by kindling the Chanukah lights in growing numbers each night of Chanukah.

May these days bring you and yours, in the midst of all our people, an ever growing measure of light in every sense of the word, materially and spiritually.
