Your letter of the 25th of Nissan reached me with some delay.

Thank you very much for the good news that all is well, and may G-d grant that things should improve still further both materially and spiritually, especially as in matters of goodness and holiness there is always room for improvement. Every additional effort on the part of a Jew in matters of Torah and Mitzvoth brings forth additional Divine blessings.

We are now in the auspicious period linking the festival of Pessach, the Season of Our Liberation, with Shovuoth, the Season of Our Receiving the Torah, which brought us also liberation of the spirit. It is therefore an auspicious time, and may it bring you, too, a growing measure of true liberation from all anxiety, and may you have further good news to report.
