By the Grace of G-d5th of Cheshvan, 5724Brooklyn, N. Y.
Via Giulio Uborti, 41
Milano (418), Italy
Blessing and Greeting:
I duly received your letter of Erev Yom Kippur in which you write about yourself and your family, as well as about your activities.
I have remembered you all in prayer when visiting the holy resting place of my father-in-law of saintly memory.
In the meantime, you have surely received regards from here through the Shochet, Rabbi Ginsburg, and other visitors, including Rabbi Liberov.
May G-d grant that all the matters you write about, and above all, the sacred institutions, should advance from strength to strength, as commanded by the Torah, which is also a delegation of power, and that the advancement be both in quality - the upgrading of the level of education, as well as in quantity - the increase in the number of students.
Hoping to hear good news from you always
With blessing
By Nissan Mindel
P.S With regard to the question of getting a piano into your home, you are right in your assumption that it is "not customary" at all in Chassidic families.
