By the Grace of G-d 7th of Elul, 5722 Brooklyn, N.Y.
138 Ross Street
Brooklyn 11, N. Y.
Sholom uBrocho:
I received your letter of Rosh Chodesh Elul, and I wish you Mazzal Tov for the good Shidduch of your son Shmuel.1 May G-d grant you much true Yiddish and Chassidish Nachas from him.
With regard to the question of the time and place of the wedding, this is a matter which both sides should discuss and decide by mutual consent. I have written to this effect also to your Mechutan,2 adding that in general it is customary to arrange the wedding in the place where the Kalo lives.
As we are in the auspicious month of Elul, when we say twice daily, "G-d is my light and my help" (Tillim,27), may it be so for you and all our people.
Wishing you and yours a kesivo vachasimo toivo,
With blessing
M. Schneerson
