B.H.24th of Tammuz, 5722 Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mr. Uri Yehuda Cohen
Schiewg 560 Rotterdame-C
Greeting and Blessing:
I received your letter of 21st of Tammuz. As requested, I will remember you in prayer when visiting the holy resting place of my father-in-law of saintly memory for the fulfillment of your heart’s desires for good. This is to include also successful activity for the strengthening of traditional Yiddishkeit in your community, with joy and gladness of heart.
In connection with our recent observance of the Chag HaGeulo of my father-in-law of saintly memory on the 13th of Tammuz, the enclosed excerpt will be of timely and lasting interest to you.1
With regard to the adoption of children from Algiers, I doubt if this is feasible for various reasons, not to mention the objection of the parents, as is surely known in the countries neighboring with France.
With blessing,
By Nissan Mindel
Enclosed are letters which had inadvertently not been mailed until now, which kindly excuse.
