Chairmen Yitzchak Bloch and David Hermelin
Dedication - Morris L. Schaver Auditorium
Greeting and Blessing:
I was pleased to be informed of the forthcoming Dedication of the Moshe Leib Schaver Auditorium of the Lubavitch Education Center, and that you have been elected Chairmen of this notable event.
As it is taking place on the day after Shabbos Parshas Vayera, there is a timely message in the beginning as well as conclusion of the Sedra.
The Sedra begins with the special Divine Revelation to our Father Abraham, following his circumcision, and concludes with the Akedah (the Binding of Isaac), and the blessings which G-d bestowed on him and his descendants, the Jewish people. The message to all of us is that when a Jew is determined to adhere to his Jewishness at all costs, he is bound to overcome all difficulties and, moreover, is generously blessed by HaShem to have extraordinary Hatzlocho in all his undertakings.
I am confident that all participants in this important event will realize the Zechus of being partners in the vital activities of the Lubavitch Education Center, and extend prayerful wishes for the utmost Hatzlocho of this event, on the occasion of the 20th Yahrzeit of the late Moshe Leib Schaver of blessed memory.
With esteem and blessing,
M. Schneerson
