By the Grace of G-d 18th of Kislev, 5739 Brooklyn, N. Y.
Mrs. Nechama Schaver

Blessing and Greeting:
It was a pleasant surprise, after the long interval, to see you, and to receive your letter and enclosed photographs.
Although the time was not suitable for a personal conversation, since I was on my way to the holy resting place of my father-in-law of saintly memory, it was good to see a good friend, whose activities in behalf of the institutions of my father-in-law are consistently growing and expanding. May G-d grant that for many many years to come you will continue to do your good works in a growing measure in happy circumstances and peace of mind, which means that the problems... are resolved in a satisfactory manner, with true Nachas.
May it all be in keeping with the spirit and message of Chanukah, which we are about to celebrate by kindling the Chanukah Lights in increasing numbers, symbolizing the true light of the Torah and Mitzvoth and all good things, to become ever brighter and brighter.
I take this opportunity to thank you for your good wishes in connection with our 50th wedding anniversary. Since G-d promised our Father Abraham, "I will bless them that bless you," He will surely reciprocate your good wishes and bless you and all yours out of His boundless bounty in the fullest measure.
With the blessing of Chag HaGeulo of Yud-Tes Kislev, and wishing you and yours a happy and inspiring Chanukah,
M. Schneerson
