I duly received your letter of August 25th with the enclosure, which is returned herewith.

With regard to the question of meeting your aunt — it would be advisable to do so, with your husband's consent, since you will be able to obtain some useful information about your late father. At the same time, you could also find out what arrangements, if any, were made for Kaddish, etc., for his soul.

I am not familiar with the American law as to what possible obligations there might be involved, such as possible outstanding debts and the like. Consequently, it might be advisable for you to consult an attorney beforehand.
