By the Grace of G-d25th of Elul, 5735 Brooklyn, N. Y
Greeting and Blessing:
After the long interval, I received your letter of Aug. 25. Many thanks for the good news it contained.
May G-d grant that you should continue to go from strength to strength in all matters of Yiddishkeit, including good influence in your environment, in accordance with the basic principle of V'Ohavto L'Reacho Komocho. And since G-d rewards in kind, and very generously1, may He continue to be good to you and yours in an ever growing measure.
I trust you are familiar with the significance of the present days of Elul, as explained by the Alter Rebbe by means of the parable of the "King in the Field."2
With best wishes for a Kesivo vaChasimo Tovo
With blessing,
M. Schneerson
