Greeting and Blessing:
I was pleased to receive your invitation, announcing your son's forthcoming Bar Mitzvah.
I am enclosing herewith a personal letter to Daniel Eliezer, and if it requires further elucidation, I trust you will give it to him.
I want to thank you for letting me know about your impressions of Simchas Torah, which you spent here. I trust that these impressions are finding expression in the daily life, for the essential thing is the deed. It has often been emphasized that the important thing about our festivals is to carry the message and inspiration of the particular festival into the everyday life throughout the year. And the main message of Simchas Torah is, of course, that each and every day throughout the year should be permeated with the spirit of Torah and imbued with joy, realizing that all matters of Torah and Mitzvoth are not a burden, G-d forbid, but a unique privilege.
Wishing you Mazal Tov on your son's Bar Mitzvah and the traditional blessing that you should bring him up to a life of Torah, Chuppah and good deeds.
With blessing
M.Schneerson
