Greeting and Blessing:
I received your letter of June 17th and, as requested, will remember you in prayer for the fulfillment of your heart's desires for good, regarding yourself and all the members of your family.
I am pleased to note that you have been in contact with our Lubavitch activists in Cape Town, and that you intend to make contact with our Lubavitch representatives in Minneapolis, where you are going to do your research work, as you write.
I trust that these contacts have been and will continue to be in the spirit of the saying of my father-in-law of saintly memory, to the effect that when two Jews meet, something good should come out of it also for a third Jew. There is surely no need to explain to you that what is truly good insofar as a Jew is concerned is, first of all, the everyday life and conduct in accordance with the Torah, which is called Lekach Tov. In other words, I trust that you are utilizing all your opportunities to spread and strengthen Yiddishkeit in your surroundings, and will continue to do so in a growing measure, since all matters of goodness and holiness should be on the ascendancy (Maalin b’Kodesh).
Wishing you Hatzlocho in all above,
With blessing,
M. Schneerson
