Greeting and Blessing:
I was pleased to receive your letter, and to note your steady improvement in the study of Torah and doing Mitzvoth. May G-d continue to bless you to go from strength to strength in the way of the Torah and Mitzvoth.
Especially as we will soon be celebrating Purim, the story of which you surely know. No doubt you also know that it was on account of the Jewish children in those days, who followed the teachings of Mordecai and Esther and were devoted to Torah and Yiddishkeit with all their heart, that the cruel Haman was toppled, and for the Jews there was once again "Light, Joy, Gladness and Honor."1
The story of Purim shows how important it is for Jewish children to learn Torah and do Mitzvoth with ever increasing devotion, not only for their own sake, but also for the sake of all our Jewish people. For in this way, G-d helps us to get rid of all our enemies, and Jews everywhere can enjoy the light of Torah and Mitzvoth and all G-d's blessings that come with the Torah and Mitzvoth.
Wishing you Hatzlocho in all above, and a very happy Purim,
With blessing,
M. Schneerson
