Enclosed herewith is a copy of the Rebbe’s שליט"א letter to Mr. ...¹ This is sent to you confidentially since Mr. ... has mentioned you in his letter, and meets and discusses things with you, and especially that it was through you that he came closer to Yiddishkeit. The purpose of sending you the copy is that when he will meet with you and wish to discuss the contents of the letter, you will be better prepared to discuss it, and further to encourage him in this direction. Perhaps you ought to find² an opportunity to meet with him and steer the conversation towards the letter - without, of course, mentioning your knowledge of it - so that you could do this at the earliest possible convenience.

The Rebbe שליט"א will be glad to hear from you further good developments about the above.
