By the Grace of G-dRosh Chodesh Nissan,5741. Brooklyn, N.Y.
Miss . . .
Buffalo, N. Y.
Blessing and Greeting:
This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter of March 31st. If you will let me know your full Hebrew name, together with your mother’s Hebrew name, as is customary, I will remember you in prayer for the fulfillment of your heart's desires for good.
Since all blessings come from G-d, every additional effort in matters of Yiddishkeit in the everyday life, though a must for its own sake, widens the channels to receive G-d’s blessings.
At the same time, a person is expected to do what is necessary in the natural order of things. In the matter of a Shidduch, the usual way is to enlist the cooperation of friends, and especially a reliable Shadchan, inasmuch as the vast majority of Shidduchim are concluded in this way.
Wishing you a Kosher and joyous Pesach,
With blessing,
