By the Grace of G-d11th of Adar 11, 5741Brooklyn, N. Y.
Dr. . . .
Lauderhill, Fla.
Greeting and Blessing:
Your letter, postdated March 11th, reached me with considerable delay. If you will let me know your full Hebrew name, together with your mother's Hebrew name, as is customary, I will remember you in prayer for the fulfillment of your heart’s desires for good.
There is surely no need to emphasize to you that since all blessings come from G-d, and the channel to receive them is through the everyday life and conduct in accordance with His Will, every additional effort in matters of Torah and Mitzvoth, though a must for their own sake, widens the channels to receive G-d's blessings in all needs.
At this time, before Purim, it is particularly timely to make special efforts in the said direction, since Purim reminds us of the renewal and resurgence of Jewish commitment to the Torah and Mitzvoth, and Jewish determination “not to kneel nor bow down"1 to any force that would alienate a Jew from Yiddishkeit, as exemplified by Mordecai.
Wishing you and all your family a joyous and inspiring Purim,
With blessing,
