By the Grace of G-d10th of Adar, 5723Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mr. Meyer Haber
37-39-90th St.
Jackson Hgts. 72, N.Y.
Greeting and Blessing:
I duly received your letter of February 17th with the enclosure. As requested, I will remember your wife in prayer.
Judging from the importance which you so rightly attach to prayer, I trust you realize that prayer is but one aspect, however important, of the Jewish way of life, in accordance with the Torah and Mitzvoth, which were given [to] us by G-d who is also the Healer of all flesh. Needless to say, the practice of our Torah and Mitzvoth and the Jewish way of life is not confined to special occasions or to special days in the year, such as Shabbos and Yom Tov, but is a daily practice and experience. And, while the Torah and Mitzvoth should be practiced for their own sake, they are also the channels and vessels to receive G-d’s blessings. Therefore, every additional effort in strengthening one’s faith and religious observance brings additional Divine blessings and fulfillment of one’s heart’s desires for good. As for your question about a Rebbe in the Holy Land to whom you could write, I suggest that you communicate with the organization of Rebbes, whose address is given below.
At this time before Purim, I send you my prayerful wishes for a happy and inspiring Purim.
With blessing,
