Greeting and Blessing:
This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter, in which you write about the activities to spread and strengthen Yiddishkeit, permeated with Chassidic light and warmth, in Capetown and surroundings. May G-d grant that these activities should be blessed with Hatzlocho in an ever growing manner.
Especially as we are now in the period between Purim and Pesach, which is particularly auspicious for such activities, and when Jewish hearts are even more receptive than usual to all matters of Torah and Mitzvoth.
And as we are all now coming from one Geulo to another Geulo, may we all merit to see very soon the final and true Geulo trough through the Righteous Moshiach. And in the meantime, may there be for all Jews "Light, Joy, Gladness and Honor" both in the plain sense of the words, as well as in their deeper meaning, namely, "Light - this is Torah", etc., which for Jews go hand in hand together.
With blessing,
M. Schneerson
P.S. The letter has been written in English, so that it could be used to greater advantage, including also those who are not so familiar with Hebrew or Yiddish.
