Greeting and Blessing:
I am in receipt of your two recent letters, which reached me with some delay.
You write about the suggestion of a Shidduch, though you do not mention many details. If the young lady under consideration adequately adheres to the Torah and Mitzvoth, and is determined to establish her home on the foundations of the Torah and Mitzvoth, the Shidduch seems suitable, and may it be in a happy and auspicious hour.
Thank you for the good news about your obtaining a job. May G-d grant that you will see the fulfillment of the words “Though thy beginning may be small, yet thy end should be very great (Iyov 8:7)”, especially in the light of the interpretation of the Baal Shem Tov, “Because thy beginning was small, thy end will be very great”.
I trust that you celebrated Purim in the true Purim spirit, and may G-d grant that the inspiration should be with you throughout the year, and that you should have good news to report.
With blessing ולבשורות טובות
M. Schneerson
