Mr. Julius Stulman
173 West Street
Brooklyn, N. Y.
Dear Mr Stulman:
I was notified by our very dear mutual friend, Mr. Alexander Cowen, that you are about to leave on a journey.
I want to take this opportunity to wish you "Bon Voyage;" a happy and successful trip, I hope that all the blessings given to you by my venerable father-in-law שליט”א will be fulfilled spiritually and materially,
These days of the Sfirah (counting of the Omer) which connect the holidays of Passover which was mainly a freedom from corporal slavery, with the holiday of Shavuos which mainly show us the way of spiritual perfection, teach us that we must always connect happiness of the body and of the soul together. I want to wish you too, that material and spiritual progress go harmoniously together.
Mr. Cowen also informed me that you recommended a rabbi to contact me about our movement and about the Chabad Chasidism. Please feel assured that considering he comes with your recommendation he will be given my personal attention, and I will be glad to be of service to him in every possible way.
With kindest regards and best wishes, I remain,
Yours very truly,
RABBI MENDEL SCHNEERSON
