Sholom uBrocho:
After a prolonged interval, your letter of the 6th of Kislev has reached me.
I trust you participated in a Yud Tes Kislev Farbrengen and were active in spreading the message and inspiration of that auspicious day which is known as the "Rosh Hashanah" of Chassidus. Indeed, its essential purpose, like that of Rosh Hashanah at the beginning of the year, is to retain the inspiration and influence throughout the year.
I also hope that the fullest advantage has been taken of the days of Chanukah, and may the light of the Torah and Mitzvoth, illuminated with the warmth and vitality of Chassidus, spread in a steadily increasing measure, in accordance with the message of the Chanukah lights.
The enclosed is of timely and lasting interest.
With blessing,
M. Schneerson
