By the Grace of G-d3rd of Menachem Av, 5720Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mr. Elazar Kalman Tiefenbrun
23B. Springfield,
London, E.5
Greeting and Blessing:
After the very long interval, I was pleased to receive your letter enclosing also a picture of your son Yosef Yitzchok, and thank you for your thoughtfulness.
In connection with your birthday, I will remember you in prayer when visiting the holy resting place of my father-in-law of saintly memory, and may G-d grant that you, together with your wife and children, will have a happy and successful year, materially and spiritually, which go hand in hand together. My father-in-law often repeated the well-known saying by the founder of Chabad, "G-d gives the Jew material blessings and the Jew converts them into spiritual blessings."
Hoping to hear good news from you, both about your personal affairs as well as your efforts in support of the Lubavitcher House, and the strengthening of Yiddishkeit in general,
With blessing,
By Nissan Mindel
