Blessing and Greeting:
I received your (undated) letter, in which you write that you are dissatisfied with your progress in Yiddishkeit, etc.
In general this has a positive aspect, which should be utilized positively. For it indicates a feeling one can and should make better progress in Yiddishkeit, where there is always room for advancement, and which is a "must” in accordance with the rule, Maalin B'Kodesh. Moreover, there is the assurance of Yogato u'Motzoso for in all such efforts one receives aid from On High.
The above is especially timely now that we are in the month of Elul, the significance of which you surely know, as explained by the Alter Rebbe in the parable of “a king in the field.”
Wishing you Hatzlocho in all above and a Kesivo vaChasimo Tovo, for a good and sweet year,
With blessing
M. Schneerson
