In reply to your letter, it would be well to find a way to induce your parents to agree to your learning in a Yeshiva. Perhaps some friends can use their influence to persuade your parents that this is very important for your future true happiness, materially and spiritually, for you are in the formative years which leave their impression for the rest of one’s life, and this is the time to lay the foundation for inner security, stability and peace of mind, which only a Yeshivah education and training can provide.
