Blessing and Greeting:
I duly received your recent correspondence. I will remember you in prayer when visiting the holy resting place of my father-in-law of saintly memory, for the fulfillment of your heart’s desires for good in the matters about which you wrote.
Now that we are approaching the joyous and auspicious festival of Purim, you surely know that the highlight of Purim is that "for the Jews there was light, joy, gladness ־and honor." Our Sages explain that "Light - this is Torah... Honor- this is Tefillin," which means that Torah and Mitzvoth are the source of true light and happiness for the Jew, both materially and spiritually. May G-d grant that this should be so for you and all of us in he midst of our people.
Wishing you and yours a happy and inspiring Purim,
With Blessing,
M. Schneerson
