Greeting and Blessing:

I was pleased to see you last Tuesday, Tishrei 4, together with our other distinguished friends.

A meeting between Jews should always be productive and fruitful, benefiting not only the participants but many other Jews as well. This task has been made easier inasmuch as our meeting took place on a Tuesday, on which the Torah states twice, during the six days of Creation, "It is good,"¹ and during these Ten Days of Repentance of which it is written: "Call to Him when He is near."²

Furthermore, the Hebrew letters that refer to the current new year 5750 - תש"נ form an acronym: "This will be a Year of Miracles."

This will surely add to the fulfillment of the good wishes and resolutions made.

I take this opportunity to extend to you and all your loved ones my prayerful wishes for a chasima and g'mar chasima tova, for a happy and healthy year, materially and spiritually.
