By the Grace of G-d 19-20 Kislev Second-third of Parshas Vayeishev, 5746 Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mr. and Mrs. Moshe Tzvi HaKohen Mayberg
4433 N Bay Rd.
Miami Beach, FL 33140
Greeting and Blessing:
Thank you for your letter.
In keeping with the teaching of the Alter Rebbe, whose Geula anniversary is the date of this letter, in his ’well known’ Iggeres HaKodesh, Poschim Bibrocha,1 (”to open with a blessing").
This letter opens with a blessing to you and yours in all needs, materially and spiritually - including having good news to report always and consistently.
And, in accordance with the message of the coming and imminent days of Chanukah, it includes also the blessing of increasingly elevating the spiritual level in all matters of goodness.
Since also every material benefit attained by anyone "serving Hashem with joy and gladness of the soul, this benefit removes from him hindrances" in Torah and Mitzvos, and benefits him and "strengthens his hand to do" in compliance with the Torah and Mitzvos. —
As expressed in the well known passage in the Rambam (Hilchos Teshuvah, chapter 9).
With Chag HaGeula greetings and blessings for bright days of Chanukah, illuminating also the days thereafter, throughout the year.
M. Schneerson
